The controversy accelerated dramatically when conservative commentator Megyn Kelly dedicated a podcast segment to analyzing a side-by-side comparison of Moriarty. Kelly cited an older, softly lit portrait alongside a January 2024 red carpet photo taken after professional contouring and dramatic hair styling.
