The true Hollywood anchor connecting Stone to West Beverly High lore is Lindsay Price. Joining the cast in 1998 during Season 8, Price arrived as Janet Sosna, a sharp, ambitious graphic designer at the Beverly Beat newspaper founded by Brandon Walsh (Jason Priestley) and Steve Sanders (Ian Ziering).

Initially introduced as a grounded professional foil to Steve's chaotic schemes, Janet evolved into one of the drama's emotional bedrocks. Her storyline dismantled Steve Sanders' bachelor lifestyle. The pair developed a workplace romance that matured into a serious relationship, navigating unplanned pregnancy, parental skepticism, and an emotional wedding ceremony in Season 10. Janet gave birth to their son, Zack, providing the long-running soap with one of its few enduring, genuinely stable marriages before the series concluded in May 2000.
