By challenging cultural boundaries around female muscularity on nationally syndicated television, Fetrick helped dismantle longstanding taboos against strength training for women. As documentary retrospectives continue to introduce American Gladiators to younger audiences, the factual record stands firm: Lori Fetrick was an uncompromising athlete whose legacy was forged on the arena floor, completely independent of the adult modeling industry.
