Take a closer look at Decoded: Every Clue, Photo, and Receipt Revealing Who His Girlfriend Really Is with our latest coverage.

Q1: Who is the girlfriend shown smiling next to Ted Bundy in the most popular viral ski photos?
That is Elizabeth Kendall (Elizabeth Kloepfer). The photos were taken during ski trips to Utah and Washington between 1971 and 1974, years before Bundy's initial arrest and prior to public knowledge of his crimes.

Q2: Did his girlfriends ever face legal charges as accomplices?
No. Law enforcement investigations determined neither woman had advance knowledge of or participated in any crimes. Kendall actively reported her suspicions to police in 1974, while Boone genuinely believed his claims of innocence until his formal confessions decades later.

Q3: How did gas station receipts factor into proving his guilt?
Investigators matched credit card slips from service stations to dates when victims went missing in Colorado and Utah. The timestamps and physical locations on the receipts proved Bundy was traveling hundreds of miles away from his Salt Lake City apartment, directly disproving his claimed alibis.
