Circle K Easy Pay Pump Test: Exactly How Much You Save per Fill-Up
We initiated our pump test at an updated Circle K location, monitoring the electronic price display before, during, and after fuel delivery. The illuminated station sign advertised regular unleaded at $3.49 per gallon for credit customers and $3.39 for cash.
Inserting the Easy Pay card immediately altered the pump display. The system applied an active enrollment discount bonus of 30 cents per gallon directly on the meter:
| Test Scenario | Pump Price Displayed | 14-Gallon Total | Net Savings vs. Credit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Credit Card Baseline | $3.499 / gal | $48.99 | $0.00 |
| Standard Cash Payment | $3.399 / gal | $47.59 | $1.40 |
| Easy Pay (Introductory Window) | $3.199 / gal | $44.79 | $4.20 |
| Easy Pay (Everyday Standard) | $3.299 / gal | $46.19 | $2.80 |
During the initial 100-gallon promo window, each full fill-up trimmed $4.20 off the bill. Once that introductory credit expired, the everyday discount leveled off at 10 cents below the cash rate (or roughly 20 cents below the posted credit price). The register receipt confirmed the line-item reduction: the physical transaction settled instantly at the lower price rather than issuing a delayed credit or rebate code.
