Chronological Safe Guide: Every Code in the Last of Us Part 2 in Story Order
By Alexander Ross
Your scavenging begins during the patrol outside Jackson before throwing you into the open expanse of Seattle Day 1. The very first safe rests inside the infected-cleared supermarket during the Patrol chapter. Squeeze through the back office gap to inspect the employee board; the "Good Boy of the Month" dog photo yields the solution. Enter 07-20-13 to collect parts and supplements.
Once Ellie reaches the sprawling downtown hub, lock exploration expands significantly. Approaching the quarantine zone perimeter wall presents the Gate West 2 combination. You can pull the code directly from the checkpoint log: enter 04-51 on the keypad to slip through and claim immediate crafting supplies.
Inside the downtown sector, two major safes demand a detour before advancing the main story:
- Downtown Seattle bank vault code: Head south to the Westmont Bank ruin, push through the collapsed lobby, and defeat the runners inside the deposit room. The discarded robber memo lists the vault door combination: 60-23-06. Inside sits the devastating Pump Shotgun and a narrative Easter egg inside a safety deposit box.
- Courthouse safe location: Clear the dark courthouse ground floor beneath the metal detectors, shatter the glass office window, and check the whiteboard. Below the stained marker writing sits the safe containing supplements and weapon parts. The combination is 86-07-22.
Before leaving the downtown district, make a final stop at the thrift shop in Capitol Hill. A note on the corkboard mentions the manager's phone number digits. Dial 55-01-33 into the safe behind the coat racks to secure ammunition and medical supplies.
