Caitlin Clark 'Blinds Herself' in Angel Reese’s Viral Locker Room Tiktok

The morning after the final, Clark showed up to the team’s post-tournament press conference sporting oversized black sunglasses indoors. Reporters seized on the wardrobe choice immediately.
"First of all, my retinas are still recovering from Angel's production studio," Clark said, drawing widespread laughter from the press room. "I genuinely didn't know an iPhone flashlight could produce that many lumens. I was trying to figure out if she was live or just filming, and next thing I know, I'm stumbling around like I walked directly into the sun."
Reese, seated at the opposite end of the dais with her gold medal draped over a USA warm-up jacket, doubled down. "She walked straight into the spotlight! That wasn't on me. Caitlin wanted the VIP lighting, and she got the VIP lighting."
The unscripted exchange marked a clear turning point in how both players address their public relationship. When asked about sharing the floor during the final quarter, Clark praised Reese’s dominant rebounding down the stretch. "People wanted us to hate each other so badly that they forgot we both just want to dominate the game. Winning gold wipes out all the noise."
