Brad Peltz Career Timeline: from Nhl Draft Pick to Healthcare Innovator
Peltz established his athletic credentials at Avon Old Farms, a premier New England prep school renowned for developing professional hockey talent. Playing as a left winger, his physical play, vision on the wing, and forechecking ability caught the attention of collegiate scouts and NHL talent evaluators alike. In June 2009, the Ottawa Senators selected him with the 184th overall pick in the seventh round of the NHL Entry Draft.
Instead of turning professional immediately, Peltz honored his commitment to Yale University. Joining the Yale men's ice hockey program under head coach Keith Allain, he competed in the ECAC Hockey conference during one of the most successful eras in Bulldogs history. Balancing an Ivy League academic curriculum with Division I NCAA athletics demanded exceptional routine management. Peltz completed his bachelor's degree in political science while contributing as a reliable depth forward in 2011.
