Q1: How old is Elana Meyers Taylor, and what record did she break?
A1: Elana Meyers Taylor is 41 years old. By winning the women's monobob at the 2026 Winter Olympics, she became the oldest woman in history to win an Olympic bobsled gold medal.

Q2: How many Olympic medals has Elana Meyers Taylor won in total?
A2: She holds 6 Olympic medals across five consecutive Winter Games (2010, 2014, 2018, 2022, and 2026): one gold, three silvers, and two bronzes. This makes her the most decorated Black Winter Olympian in history.

Q3: What is the difference between monobob and the two-woman bobsled?

A4: Yes. Following her monobob gold, she is scheduled to pilot Team USA's primary sled in the two-woman bobsled event at the Cortina track.
