All About Lexi Murphy: Everything Fans Want to Know About Max Thieriot's Wife
By Maya Lin-Takahashi
Maintaining a grounded rural life requires considerable logistical discipline, especially given Thieriot’s demanding production commitments. During his five seasons playing Clay Spenser on CBS’s SEAL Team, shooting primarily occurred in Southern California. However, creating, producing, and starring in Fire Country altered that routine significantly. Production on the series takes place largely around Vancouver, British Columbia, simulating the rugged terrain of Northern California's Cal Fire response regions.
While Thieriot commutes to Canada for long production blocks, Murphy manages the household in Occidental and keeps their sons rooted in their normal school and extracurricular schedules. Thieriot frequently returns home during production breaks to work with his co-founders at Senses Wines, inspect vineyard blocks, and spend downtime with his family. In interviews, Thieriot has credited Murphy’s unwavering support and steady temperament as the foundation that allows him to write, act, and direct without destabilizing his family structure. She remains his most trusted sounding board, reading scripts and offering candid feedback away from studio politics.
