Alabama State Athletics Names Alexxis Pittman to Soccer Staff: Full Breakdown
By Sarah Jenkins
Recruiting top-tier student-athletes to HBCU programs requires aggressive networking and clear value propositions. Competing against established mid-majors means coaches must identify undervalued talent early in the club showcase circuit. Pittman plays a visible role in identifying high-ceiling high school prospects and navigating the transfer portal.
The SWAC women's soccer landscape has intensified dramatically. Programs like Grambling State, Jackson State, and Prairie View A&M consistently recruit international playmakers and experienced transfers. Pittman’s presence on the recruiting trail helps Alabama State pitch technical growth, competitive playing time, and complete academic mentorship to prospective signees looking for an ambitious Division I destination.
